Events & Fundraising

On Saturday 18th March 2023, we are organising a wellness event in the Poppy Centre situated at the recreation ground.
The aim of the event is to promote what Stalham and the surrounding area has to offer in terms of supporting people's health and wellbeing
While we believe exercise can provide the foundation of a healthy lifestyle we also understand that health and wellness come in many different forms. Mental and emotional health is just as important as physical health and they all contribute to an individual's sense of wellbeing.
We have invited health and wellness practitioners, groups, organisations and clubs to show what there is on offer to the people of Stalham and the local community.
There will also be craft stalls and refreshments, the gym will open too so you'll be able to have a look round to see what our great facility offers in terms of exercise and training.

London Marathon 2021

Stalham Community Gym was one of twenty six North Norfolk charities (drawn out of those put forward) to benefit from Duncan Baker MP's fund raising effort in this year's London Marathon.

Duncan is hoping to raise £1,000.00 for each charity and is running mile eight for us.

Stalham Vintage Fair

Stalham Community Gym had a stall on Sunday 15th August at the Stalham Vintage Fair.  We raised a fabulous £425.21 for our charity, which wouldn't have been possible without the generosity of all those who donated items for us to sell and of all those who came and supported our stall. 


We had a fabulously fun day. We found a new home for a stuffed budgie - he/she will be living the dream in a 1950’s birdcage in a chalet overlooking the beach at Gorleston-on-Sea.  We also had a chandelier stolen from our stall - who would believe it! 


The turnout was brilliant, so thanks to the organisers for permitting us a space on the High Street.

Duncan Baker MP paid us a visit which we appreciated as he is running Mile 8 of the London Marathon in October to raise funds for Stalham’s Community Gym. 


A massive thank you to all donors, helpers, buyers, and everyone else who showed an interest in our Community Gym.

All members are welcome and encouraged to attend as it would be fantastic to get your views on how the gym is run as well as hearing any ideas you might have to build on the gyms current success.

We are also looking for members to get involved on the committee so if you think you could bring something extra to the running of the gym let us know.
