We're Open Again!

Stalham Community Gym is open again and it's been great to see some of our members coming back again albeit in slightly different circumstances to what we're used to. 

 

We have put strict measures in place in line with the government guidelines to make sure everything is as COVID safe as possible. (See below for more details)

How it works

- Pick the Hub from the options above making sure you book the one with the equipment that you want to use for your chosen workout session.

- Then use the booking system that is in operation (call Helen on 07716 811696 for more details, although please don't call after 9pm), You will be able to book one hour time slots during opening hours for you to exercise in.

- On your first visit we will need you to fill out a new membership form and health questionnaire along with a COVID declaration so our records are fully up to date and comply to track and trace protocols.

- The changing room/area and toilets will have restricted use so you will be required to come 'ready to train', no towels or bags will be allowed in the gym or storage areas so travel light. Please bring your own water and keep it with you at all times.

- There will be a one way system in place so that contact with other members is kept to a minimum (entry through the main Poppy Centre door and leave via the gym door).

- Cleaning equipment and hand sanitiser will be available to use on entry and exit as well as in the cardio and hub areas.

- Members will be encouraged to clean the equipment before and after use with the materials provided and are required to factor this into their one hour training slot.

- There are revised opening hours for the first month or so but we will be reviewing them to see what works best for our members (see below).

- We are also going to be running two exerise classes, a 'Boxing Fit Style' Class on Monday mornings between 11am-12pm and a 'Weights /Resistance Style' Class on Thursday mornings between 10-11 am, if members are interested they need to book in advance by calling Helen on the above number as spaces will be limited.

Monday: 8am - 12pm (Boxing Fit Class 11 - 11:30am)

Wednesday: 9am - 12pm

Thursday: 8am -12pm (Weights Circuit Class 10-11am)

  & 5 - 8pm

Friday: 9am - 12pm
